Every quilt has a story and every quilter made the quilt with love. When I find an unwanted or discarded quilt, I scoop up for my stash. The quilt’s story after I rescue, continues the journey and story in honor of the quilter.

I quilt unfinished tops, assemble blocks from unfinished quilts, clean and brighten be removing years of dirt and gunk and repair failed seams and holes (when i can). From there, the next step for the quilt begins. Some are displayed in our home, some are donated to charities for individuals in need, some are adopted, some are gifted, and some are repurposed into wearable art .

What ever the path, I update the story and strive to honor the original quilter along the way!
